We handed the system a resume and a job description demanding ten skills, tools and certifications the resume did not contain. Then we checked whether any of them appeared in the tailored version.
None of the ten appeared. All ten came back as gaps, each with what it would actually take to close it. On 6 September we ran that test against the live model. It is not automated yet, so treat it as a measurement we took, not a promise about every future release.

Does this fabricate experience to beat the ATS?
No. GroundedResume rephrases and reorganizes your real experience for clarity and job alignment, and lists the requirements it couldn't find in your resume. On 6 September we ran a test where a posting demanded ten skills a sample resume lacked. None appeared.
Will it change how my resume looks?
If you upload a Word file, no. We edit that document and your layout comes back as it was. PDFs and pasted text are returned in our standard layout.
Is it really ATS-friendly?
We improve ATS compatibility: clean structure, standard sections, keyword alignment. We also flag formatting risks. No tool can guarantee passing every ATS.
Do you store my resume?
Your tailored resumes are saved to your account history so you can revisit them, and you can delete any run at any time. We never sell your data or use it to train models.
Which AI models do you use?
A cost-routed mix: fast, affordable models for analysis and stronger models for tailoring. Premium unlocks our most capable model; Local mode can run on your own server.
What's the difference between Economy, Balanced and Premium?
They use different AI models. Economy uses a lighter one, Balanced is the default and fits most resumes, and Premium uses the strongest model available.
Economy and Balanced both cost one credit. You are paying for a tailored resume, not for our compute, so there is no reason to ration yourself between them. Premium costs three credits and is available on the Premium and Team plans.
Premium takes longer. A Balanced run is usually a minute and a half to two minutes; the one Premium run we timed took just over two minutes, and that was off-platform, so expect somewhat more than that in production.
We do not claim one mode produces a better resume than another. We have not run that comparison. What differs is the model and the time, and we would rather tell you that than assert a result we cannot show you.
Local mode is for running the platform on your own infrastructure, pointed at your own Ollama or vLLM server, so your documents are processed by a model you host instead of an outside AI provider.
Why pay for this when I already pay for ChatGPT or Claude?
Fair question. If you're applying to one or two roles, a general chat assistant may be all you need.
The difference isn't the model. It's what runs around it.

The measurement is real. Keyword coverage is computed in code from the text itself, and every requirement marked missing is checked against the actual output. If one appears, you're told which.
